OSGeo Student Award at FOSS4G 2018: Stephen Oloo from ILRI!

At the Evening Gala at the 2018 FOSS4G Conference in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, on 30 August, the Open Source Geospatial Foundation (OSGeo), the main organizing body of the conference, presented the Best Student Presentation Award to our proud CSI Community Member: Stephen Oloo from International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI).

Stephen presented his work on “Mapping livestock keepers and their herds across Africa based on households’ survey”.  While working as a Spatial Data Analyst at ILRI, Stephen is also pursuing his master’s degree in Geographic Information System at the University of Nairobi, Kenya.
